Gregg Garrett Joins ACT-IAC Institute for Innovation Executive Committee

Evolver proudly announces that Gregg Garrett, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Innovation Officer of Evolver’s parent organization CSS, has been appointed to serve on the Executive Committee of the Institute for Innovation at American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC). 

ACT-IAC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization dedicated to improving government through the effective and innovative application of technology. Widely regarded as the premier public-private partnership in the government technology community, ACT-IAC provides an objective and trusted forum where government and industry leaders collaborate to advance mission outcomes across Federal, State, and local agencies. 

Gregg’s appointment to the Innovation Institute’s Executive Committee recognizes his decades-long leadership in digital transformation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and enterprise technology modernization across both government and industry. 

Gregg is widely recognized for his contributions to the federal technology community. ACT-IAC previously selected him as Federal IT Industry Contributor of the Year. He has also been recognized as one of the most influential cybersecurity leaders in the United States by Executive Gov Magazine and as a Top 10 Most Dynamic IT and Cyber Leader by Executive Biz Magazine. 

An expert author of more than 24 books and 160 published articles and whitepapers, including Cybersecurity in the Digital Age, Garrett has taught contract management, program management, systems engineering, IT, and cybersecurity to more than 50,000 professionals worldwide. He has served on the faculty of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), as an adjunct professor at The George Washington University, and as a guest lecturer at Georgetown University. He currently serves on the George Mason University Advisory Board for the Cybersecurity Resilience Center. 

Gregg also served more than 20 years as a U.S. Air Force officer on active duty and in the reserves, earning 17 medals and badges for distinguished military service. 

Through his role on the ACT-IAC Institute for Innovation Executive Committee, Gregg will help shape strategic initiatives that strengthen collaboration between government and industry, accelerate responsible innovation, and advance mission-focused technology solutions across the public sector.
