Chris Balsley

Chris Balsley is Evolver’s Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than two decades of experience formulating business plans, establishing management systems, and maximizing profitability. In this role, he leads the company’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, and control functions, ensuring strong governance, operational discipline, and alignment between financial performance and business objectives. With a keen ability to create, communicate, and implement financial directives, Chris drives results by removing obstacles and strengthening the processes that support sustainable growth across the enterprise. 

Chris’s career spans executive leadership roles across professional services, consulting, and construction organizations. Before joining Evolver, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Southland Concrete Corporation and as an Independent Consultant, advising clients on tax compliance, banking strategy, technology platform improvements, and regulatory matters to enhance decision support and transactional processes. Previously, Chris was Chief Accounting Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Ankura Consulting Group, where he oversaw financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for a $170 million organization and guided integration efforts associated with multiple acquisitions that contributed to rapid enterprise growth. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Financial Officer of ARPC, where he strengthened financial controls, secured credit facilities, implemented risk management and disaster recovery programs, and supported the company’s successful transition to audited financial statements.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from SUNY Geneseo and an Accounting Certificate from Hofstra University. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
