Evolver VP and Chief Solutions Architect Chip Block will speak this week at the virtual FAIRCON21 on the topic of Emergency Management Planning and Preparedness. The virtual event is scheduled for 2:30 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, October 20Registration for the event is available online.

Chip’s discussion on the topic of emergency management will draw upon Evolver’s experience implementing both cyber operations and risk management services for various clients, including state and city governments who are seeing an increased risk profile from cyber attack exposure. Ahead of the conference, Chip said, “The interesting thing about modern risk management is that it goes beyond what is traditionally thought of as cybersecurity. Our risk quantification approach goes beyond the effects of a data hack. We look at the impact on response to fires, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. It’s really a holistic risk package we’ll be looking at.”
